About Our Licensing Policy
As of December 31st, 2007, we are no longer selling any general Limited Commercial Use Licenses.
We are going to continue to honor individual image licenses if we have listed that as an option. We also will be selling licenses per graphic CD if available and stated for that CD. Those licenses are only for the image selected or for the CD selected and is not included as any General Limited Commercial Use License. The rights to use the images specific are limited to the purchased product.
We are expanding and will be showcasing Custom One Of A Kind Websites & Ebay Templates, Store Fronts, etc. all designed with images from our extensive collections of Victorian & Vintage Empemera. To protect the integrity of these images, we respect the position of our Board Of Directors in advising us to no longer offer general Commercial Licenses.
Current License Holders
Please Note
All current license holders will be permitted to use our images as outlined in their Commercial License Agreemement. Their agreement also includes any future images from the categories so specific as outlined in such Commercial License Agreement.
IF you are a quality artisan and would like to use our images to create items to sell from this website or another site in our website family, please contact us for special details.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will cheerfully respond as soon as possible.
Commercial License Fee
We are honoring existing Limited Commercial License holders only at this time. Because we are now selling website designs and other exclusive items using our graphic collection, we have received word from our Board of Directors to no longer issue any new Limited Commercial licenses at this time. We have, on occasion, made an exception to this new policy based on an individual special request. We also have added a Limited Commercial License fee to some of our graphic CDs on a per CD basis. New licensees wishing to purchase a licensed CD must pay a license fee per each CD. Those current license holders may purchase the CD and use the images on it without further compensation as your license agreement promised at the time you purchased a Limited Commercial license.
We retain the rights to these copyright protected images and can rescind this agreement at any time if we should prove that you have misused this license or the terms as outlined within. Our Terms of Use or TOU includes you placing a credit link to our site, Victoria Rose Graphics at the bottom of every page where you use our graphics in public domain. Failure to do so will end the Commercial License Agreement and we will contact our copyright attorney for further acttion if we determine that you are deliberately using the licensed images and claiming them as your own.
Why The Credit Link?
Many clients ask us why they need to place a graphic credit link on the page in public domain where our images are placed. If there is no credit link on the page, many people who do not understand copyright infringement will "borrow" the graphic and use it and claim it as their own believing that if there is no credit given, then it is a free image and "up for grabs" for anyone who wants to use it. We do not ask for the credit link for advertising purposes. It is to protect the integrity of these beautiful images and make sure they keep their collectible nature. It protects us and it protects you who pay the addded license fee to use the image commercially and expect it will give your item sold or add special touches to your website or blog or any place where Vintage or Victorian appeal is needed.
To All Current License Holders
If you are a website, template, digital scrapbook or decal designer or an online boutique or store who would like to purchase our images to print and frame for sale, we offer the following limited commercial license products and terms.
This Commercial License Fee is non transferrable and non refundable.
The Limited Commercial License is issued to one person or one company, entity, or online store or website. If you have employees that work as members of your design team, they may also use these images in their design as long as they clearly understand these terms and are in total agreement with them. You must provide your name and/or company to us so that we can fill out the license agreement and send you a copy either by Email or USPS mail.
This purchase of the full limited license and payment of the license fee gives you permission to use any of our digital images from only specified categories. It has been brought to our attention that we need to be more specific as to exactly which images are able to be used if you do purchase either commercial license from us. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to work together and incorporate your suggestions to make it easier for others who show an interest in these images.

The Following Images ARE Available For Use:
1 - E-Images Category - Every Image unless otherwise stated. You may find these images by going to our E-Botique in the left navigation panel under "Shop" and then finding the sub category E-Images.
2 - Vintage Cuts only if you purchased a license that included these special transparent images.
3 - Free Images on our Free Image page or Image Of The Month
The following Images NOT Available For Use:
1 - E-Tag Category*
2 - Calling Cards or Business Cards Category*
3 - Any tags, Shabby Shop Tags©, Boutique Tags©, virtually any tag we create as our original and exclusive tag are never licensed.
4 - Web Banners or Menu Boards or any other exclusive designed product.
5 - Designer Look Category - Business Cards and Matching Merchant Tags. {these are another company's designs; we are authorized resellers}
6 - Items from our E-Prints Category are NOT licensed at this time.
7 - Loose Prints or Framed Prints {because those are purchased from another company & we are authorized resellers}
* In some instances, when we have the base graphic in our private collection and it is used in any of the categories above, we will license it to you as a separate image apart from the design of the exclusive tag or element used. When possible, if you see an image on one of our original tags or calling cards - we will do our best to try and make that available for you. We will sell the base image of the tag i. e. the center image - but not the elements that make up the tag such as ribbons and bows and buttons and jewels, etc. Also any that are on CD now or in the future. Unlike others, we don't charge an annual use fee or limit the number of graphics you can purchase or use during any specified time period. You may also purchase one image and license it as a separate image license should you desire. It is more expensive that way if you plan on purchasing more in the future but we try to accommodate every person's individual need.
Single License Fees
This purchase of a single limited license and payment of the license fee gives you permission to use the single image purchased as an E-Image, E-Graphic, or Digital Image {herein referred to E-Images} {except as stated above.}
With regards to other E-Images showcased on this site and any on our CD's, with the exception noted above, you may NOT use the image itself as a stand alone image or redistribute it, copy it, or replicate it digitally or electronically or physically or claim it as your own image or use it in any way that places it in public domain or indirectly or directly is in competition with us. For example. . you cannot purchase the image or images with a license and then start a graphic image website and sell them as your own licensed images. However, if you desire to sell a product that incorporates the image or images into the design of your item, that would be acceptable except in noted cases such as our exclusive and original designs.
You Must Give Us A Credit Link Back To Our Website
It is understood with the purchase of any license, that if and when you use our images on a website or graphic design or sell items using our images on any website or in any form in public domain or sell the prints framed or display our image as the main graphic in your item sold, you must state that the images were used with our express written permission and then put a link to our website at Victoria Rose Graphics. If you have any questions, please contact us. Please add the following words of text on the page where the graphic is used:

The image of the {our image you purchased with license} displayed on this page is provided by and used with the expressed written and licensed permission from Victoria Rose Graphics at http://www.victoriarosegraphics.com . You may also post our banner found on our links page if you would prefer a graphic link to our site on each page where the image is displayed in public domain.

In other words, you may use these images as part of your own design or incorporate the image into your own work but the image itself cannot be sold or redistributed or copied or replicated by itself as a stand alone image. Any time you use our image, the credit link must appear on the page where you use it.
You may NOT buy these images and sell them as digital reprints or E-Images in any manner that directly or indirectly is in competition with this website of offer them for sale or profit except as incorporated into your designs as outlined above.
However, you may sell these images as framed images on your site or in public comain or in your brick and mortar store without further compensation once you have purchased a license to do so.
These images may NOT become a part of any collection to be sold either collectively or as a stand alone image other than as by online retailers in the following restricted manner.
If you are an online retailer and wish to buy our images to print and frame, they may be sold as long as you purchase our license. However, they may NOT be sold as stand alone images as that would be in direct competition with our company.

About Our Print Services
Print services are available to Continental United States of America ONLY, Please.
If available, printing services will be listed as an option on the item you desire professionally printed.
Professional printing is sent out and not done "in house" on a home computer.
Please allow 3-6 weeks for this service as the time schedule will vary with our printer's job calendar.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask before you make your purchase.
There are no refunds on printing services.
Please verify all personal information carefully such as text before we order the printing.
About Special Orders
If you would like to place a special or custom order, please write to us through this website. All Special or Custom Orders must be paid in advance and no refunds will be issued.
We also protect your privacy by not stating your name or other personal details. When we have reached an agreement about your order, we will send you a link to the Special Order page and/or send you a PayPal Invoice.

Their hosting prices are very fair and start at $9.95 per month {on an annual contract basis}, $12.95 per month {month to month basis} for a basic package that is more than enough space or bandwidth for any website. We have over 3500 products and photos on our graphic site and are only using approximately 15% of the storage space allotted. You should never need more than their basic hosting plan unless you are a huge retailer. If you should ever need to upgrade to their unlimited bandwidth or Premium plan, you can always do so later. Pappshop hosting includes a free shopping cart, a feature not common with most website hosts. About Our One Of A Kind Pre-Designed Sites
Many of these designs will be One Of A Kind Pre-Designed and will sell out fast starting at $395.00 unless they are on sale. Since they are pre-designed, they give you the opportunity to have a full working website up and running quickly if you have purchased your domain and hosting plan. Other Limited Editions will become available and showcased on a regular basis. There are no refunds on web site or graphic designs.
It is our goal to offer a website or template to you for a very reasonable cost and to be able to have you in your new business as soon as possible.
Our One Of A Kind websites will be sold as is without modifications or revisions, other than your website text and personalization. Occasionally we have made exceptions and changed a photo inside a brooch for example. There will be no changes in the design format without paying additional charges per hour.
The One Of A Kind Limited Edition Web Sites will only be sold to one client and then retired. We may offer Limited Edition sites in the near future.
About Custom Websites
If you would like us to design a website to complement any of our Shabby Shop Tags©, and we have not created a Pre-Designed One Of A Kind of your selected tag, we will create a custom designed complementing site for you starting at $495.00. Because custom sites are not sold to anyone else, we can only design one site per tag when using our exclusive tags as inspiration. We also would love to design a special site using your suggestions coupled with our leading designer's expertise and experience and coming up with a design concept that best represents you and your business.
Please remember that custom designed sites are more time consuming and you will be placed on a schedule. Your site will be "penciled in" on our graphic designer's schedule and held in place provided you have secured it with the required down payment of $250.00. The balance of $245.00 will be due when the design concept meets your expectations. We do not refund your down payment. Our graphic designers begin work on your design shortly after placing you on their calendar as the process begins when they establish contact and communication with you and begin searching their archives for graphics and trying to come up with a design theme or concept. Their time and expertise is valuable. There are no refunds on website designs or graphic design services.
We look forward to working with you and achieving your design goals. Custom sites will be placed on our schedule according to the date of the confirmed down payment. Many designers have a 3 month waiting period for a custom design. Our lead time will vary depending on our designer's schedule.
Typically, our designer's schedule has a lead time of 2-6 weeks but can vary depending on the complexity of the current designs on her design board. You will be notified by our leading graphic design team member and given an estimate once you have made the down payment. However, that can change so please check with us before you place your order if time is of the essence.
All Websites
All of our sites, when hosted by Pappashop are complete with a full working E-commerce site including a Pappashop - Mals Ecart Shopping cart {Included Free}. All sites will include 1 animated banner and 2 additional banners, matching order button or shopping cart graphic, and category headers up to 30 Categories. Please start thinking about your categories so that our designers can create matching banners which also gives us a leading edge as we include those as part of your design whereas many sites charge extra.
We also offer many other options not found on other sites such as complenting One Of A Kind shop tags or address labels and postcards for your business - all available as options.
Domain Tips
If you are considering opening a website, the first step is to establish your domain name. If you go to Pappashop at www.pappashop.com and click on Domains you can try various ones to fit your goals and see if they are available. Domains may be purchased for as little as $9.95 per year. We also suggest that you try and make your domain name as short as possible and as relevant to what you sell as possible. Although it is very endearing to name your site after a special person in your life, the domains that get the most "hits" and the most visitors and hopefully the most shoppers are those whose domain includes search words that will bring clients to your site. For example, if you are selling art, make sure that is part of your domain name.
After you have registered your domain, then you need to shop for a website design. If you choose us, we will ask you to sign up for hosting with Pappashop at the right time and if it is a Pre-Made Original One Of A Kind design, we will have you up and running very quickly. Choosing a custom design will take longer as noted above. The important part to remember is that once you sign up for hosting, please do not delete the confirmation Email you receive from Pappashop. There is information in that Email that we must have to publish your site.
